Since selective collection does not allow for retrieving all materials that can be reclaimed, Gaudreau provides ecocentre services where the population can dispose of construction and renovation materials as well as leaves, grass, branches, furniture, wood, metal, cardboard, brick, asphalt, concrete or other surpluses they might have. Because of its expertise, the Company was entrusted with the task of setting up and operating an ecocentre in the county of Portneuf.
To date, over 70% of what is brought to the Gaudreau-operated ecocentres is diverted from removal to be reclaimed.
Open since 1997, the Victoriaville Ecocentre is located in the vicinity of the Gaudreau Sorting Centre. It is also possible to leave there material usually picked up at the same time as the collecting of bulky objects as well as industrial scrap.
