Wiser for this lengthy experience in managing its own sites, Gaudreau was entrusted with the mandate of managing various waste landfill sites.
The last LET-certified Landfill Site, built in 2005, perfectly complies with the environmental standards laid down by the Ministry of the Environment. Clearly superior to those in the past, the new demands concerning both the construction and operation of such sites specifically aim the development of leak-proof landfill cells thus ensuring greater protection of underground water by allowing to harness lixiviate water and if need be, to process it, thus ensuring water protection.
Gaudreau has always advocated total respect of the environment, and with its new landfill site, it once again demonstrates its constant concern for finding solutions to problems linked to landfill favouring sustainable development.
